AVONDALE, La. – Zurich announced Sunday a seven-year extension of its title sponsorship of the PGA Tour’s New Orleans-area event, through 2026.
Zurich became the title sponsor of the event in 2005, just months before Hurricane Harvey devastated the area.

TPC Louisiana has hosted the event since 2005. Officials at Bayou Oaks at City Park, which reopened last April after a restoration by Rees Jones, are hoping to eventually lure the event to its course.
“We’ll continue to monitor any other options,” tournament director Steve Worthy said, “but as we see it right now, this has everything we need. We’re very happy at TPC Louisiana.”
