PALM HARBOR, Fla. – Tiger Woods admitted that he made a couple of minor tweaks in his game between the Honda Classic two weeks ago and this week’s Valspar Championship.

The tweaks weren’t much, Woods said Sunday after shooting a final-round 70 to tie for second place, one shot behind Paul Casey. He adjusted his setup, which helped his posture. It was done so he could make a “better pass through the golf ball.”

It worked.

There will not be any tweaks over the next four days, between now and when Woods tees it up in the first round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational Thursday at Bay Hill.

Woods wouldn’t admit that he was tired from the arduous week, but did say that he will not touch a golf club at all on Monday. Rest is the only thing on the agenda.

“I’ve got some things to do but I haven’t played Arnold’s tournament in a couple years now.” Woods said.

Other than that…

“Maybe just get a couple good lifts in,” Woods quipped.
