Tiger Woods has officially committed to play the U.S. Open, the USGA announced Thursday. It’s his first start in the year’s second major since 2015.

Woods has played the past two U.S. Opens at Shinnecock. In 1995, as an amateur, he opened with 74 and then withdrew in the second round because of an injury. Nine years later, he shot 10 over par and tied for 17th.

The three-time U.S. Open champion is in the final year of his 10-year exemption for winning the 2008 Open at Torrey Pines.

Woods, who tied for 32nd at last week’s Masters, has not yet announced his upcoming schedule.
