Nothing like some thick, juicy U.S. Open rough to turn professional golfers into amateur cinematographers. Lee Westwood and Ryan Palmer, who got an early look at Erin Hills, which will host the 117th U.S. Open beginning Thursday, decided to share video evidence of just how long and thick that stuff is:

The rough is really thick this week just off the edge of the fairway! #usopen

Had one shot from the fescue. Fun golf course. Very fair off the tee. Still have to drive it well… and long. pic.twitter.com/9zUi5MHvOE
