Your tee time is exactly that — the time you should be standing on the first tee, ready to go. It’s not an indicator of when you should be pulling into the parking lot! To make sure you get there relaxed, happy, warmed up and ready to go, follow a few simple pre-round guidelines. You’ll make for a much more popular playing partner and customer.
What You Need To Know
•Give yourself plenty of time to get ready for your round. It’s best to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tee time.
•When you get there, check in with the starter — either in the golf shop or near the first tee — to let him or her know you’re there. You’ll also get an idea if things are running on time.
•Use the time before your tee time wisely. Warm up on the range by hitting some full shots, then move to the practice green to roll some putts.
