Following his lowest career round at Sawgrass, a 7-under 65 on Saturday, Tiger Woods got off to a fast start Sunday at The Players.
The two-time Players champion failed to take advantage of the par-5 second, but made up for it with this birdie at the par-3 third.

One hole later, Woods found the left side of the fairway at the par-4 fourth, used the slope of the green to feed the ball the to the far-left pin, and cleaned up a 4-footer for his second birdie of the round, moving him to 10 under par.

Woods would go back to back to back at the difficult par-4 fifth, hammering a drive 320 yards, dropping his approach over the flagstick, and ramming in a 20-footer.
Birdie.

Tiger made the turn in a bogey-free, 4-under 32 when he worked an iron right of the green at the par-5 ninth, pitched on and made this putt for his fourth birdie of the day.
Tough lie? No problem for Tiger.

He nearly made eagle at the par-5 11th, when he found the green in two and just burned the edge with his eagle try. He’d settle for a tap-in birdie to move to 5 under on his round and into a tie for third at 13 under for the week.
The eagle *just* slides by for Tiger.
Another birdie and he's T3. #LiveUnderPar pic.twitter.com/hiTCOwIPzU

Woods pulled into a tie for second with Danny Lee at 14 under par when he took iron off the tee at the short par-4 12th, played a 66-yard wedge to 4 feet, and cleaned up for his birdie-3.
But that would be the last circle for Woods, who would bogey 14 and double bogey 17 to shoot 3-under 69 and finished minus-11 for the week.
