Inbee Park and Pernilla Lindberg tried their hardest to finish the ANA Inspiration on Sunday, even playing in nearly pitch-black conditions down the stretch of their playoff.
After making matching birdies on the third playoff hole – eliminating Jennifer Song and her par in the process – Park and Lindberg agreed to play a fourth playoff hole despite a lack of daylight, and teed off on 18 even though they could barely see where they were aiming:

While much appreciated by fans, the effort, which was aided by flood lights being brought out near the green, was all for naught as the two finished with pars on the hole and will have to return on Monday to determine the year’s first LPGA major winner.
