The Presidents Cup can make for some strange International bedfellows. That, and sometimes you just can’t help but hug a Canadian.
Such was the case at the par-5 ninth on Thursday, when Australia’s Marc Lieshman chipped in for an eagle-3 to move to just 1 down in his match with Jason Day against Phil Mickelson and Kevin Kisner.
With Canada’s Adam Hadwin on the bench, and with Leishman apparently excited enough to hug fans who were both inside the ropes and wearing onesies, it was a match made in Presidents Cup heaven.
