Matthew Fitzpatrick’s fourth career European Tour title allowed for a solid boost to his world ranking.

Fitzpatrick won the Omega European Masters in a playoff over Scott Hend. As a result, the 23-year-old Englishman moved up 15 spots in the Official World Golf Ranking, to 33rd.

Hend jumped 20 spots, to 78th.

There was no PGA Tour event this past week as the FedExCup Playoffs went on hiatus before the final two-event push to the finish line.

The only movement inside the top 20 was Adam Scott dropping to 21st and being replaced at No. 20 by Louis Oosthuizen. Scott has been a fixture inside the top 20 since the 2011 season.

The top 10 goes like this: Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Hideki Matsuyama, Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Henrik Stenson, Sergio Garcia, Jason Day and Rickie Fowler.
