AUGUSTA, Ga. β It appears rain will make an appearance at the Masters, according to a forecast released by the tournament on Tuesday.
There is a 60 percent chance of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms Wednesday morning. Clouds should decrease in the afternoon but it will remain breezy with gusts expected up to 25 miles per hour. The low is 64 and the high is 74. Remember, last year was the first time in the history of the Masters that the Par-3 Contest was cancelled.
Thursday and Friday are expected to bring the best weather of the week. For Thursdayβs first round the low is 42 and the high is 69, with winds consistently between 5-10 mph. The winds will pick up only slightly on Friday where the high is expected to be 75.

The weekend may become more challenging. There is a 60 percent chance of afternoon showers on Saturday and wind gusts could reach 20 mph. The high is 68.
Sunday could bring early morning showers and it will remain partly cloudy throughout the day. Winds will be between 10-15 mph. The low is 45, the high is 65.
