Paula Creamer wasn’t an original captain’s pick for the U.S. Solheim Cup team. Juli Inkster went with Austin Ernst and Angel Yin. But when Jessica Korda announced she would be physically unable to compete, Inkster tabbed Creamer as her replacement.

Many on social media – and standard media outlets – weren’t fans of the selection, given Creamer’s multiple sub-par seasons. But the Solheim Cup veteran won both of her matches on Day 2 in Iowa and entered Sunday singles with a 2-1-0 record in her seventh overall appearance.

As you can hear above, Inkster had some choice words for all the Creamer doubters.
